  Hybrid Stand Up Paddles -- my hybrids are combinations of wood and either carbon fiber or kevlar.  The purpose of mating these materials is to provide comfort, flex, lightweight, and strength.  I make paddles with wood shafts and cf/kevlar blades, or with lightweight wood blades and cf/kevlar shafts (shafts can be braided with kevlar and cf, for both incredible strength and lightweight.

 



Carbon blade/wood shaft SUP    - A 9" carbon fibre blade with pronounced powerface rib and exaggerated lip for smooth, solid entry into water.   Blade is 17.5" long, paddle weight approx. 27 ounces with nice swing weight.  Good flex.    $280
